Terracotta Roof Finial – Antique c.1890–1910 with Ball Top and Fluted Acanthus Detailing

This outstanding terracotta roof finial is an original architectural element dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (c.1890–1910), notable for its sculptural form and bold proportions.

A rarer variant among period examples, the terracotta roof finial features a deeply fluted stem rising to a prominent ball top, framed by stylised acanthus-leaf motifs at both the base and crown.

Its distinctive silhouette provides a strong visual statement, setting it apart from more conventional or later reproductions.

The finial remains in original condition with no restorations.
