A collection of fine antique 19th century wooden beech measures, crafted using a pole lathe.
Some feature measure verification marks, including the City of Westminster verification mark, and some are labelled with measurements such as PINT and QUART.
The measures vary in size, from a small beech measure approximately 8.7 cm tall x 6 cm in diameter, to a QUART size measure approximately 19.5 cm tall x 10 cm in diameter (excluding the handle).
Overall, they are in good condition, though some feature splits as pictured.
The QUART measure has splits to the sides and internally to the base.
Wooden Pint Measure 1 has a split to the side.
Wooden Pint Measure 2 has small splits to the side and base.
The approximate Half Pint Measure has a small crack to the outside.
The Small Measure has a hairline crack to the side.
Please review the images to assess the full condition of these measures.
